The Coop – Data Protection Notice
From time to time during the course of its operations Media Coop Productions Ltd. T/A The Coop (hereinafter referred to as ‘The Coop’) may need to process personal data relating to persons who avail of its services and/or have other dealings with The Coop (for example: the recruitment of permanent or part-time staff, the contact and hire of freelance crew, the filming and videoing of various individuals: clients, their staff and partners, members of the public etc.). This personal data may include, for example, contact details such as name, address and telephone number, curriculum vitae, etc). Such data may be processed for the purposes of complying with our obligations to you in terms of assessing applications for full or part-time staff, or for freelance crew and/or for other purposes which are incidental to our dealings with you. All processing is carried out in compliance with applicable law including the Data Protection Acts 1988, 2003 and 2018 and GDPR (the "DPA").
As a Company registered and headquartered in Ireland, The Coop undertakes not to transfer Data outside Ireland or the European Economic Area.
The DPA imposes obligations to keep personal data up to date. To help us comply with this obligation, you should notify us of any change of address, phone number or other details, either by contacting us at info@thecoop.ie
Individuals have the right to ask for a copy of any personal data held about them and to correct any inaccuracies in such data.
Please note that The Coop may contact you with information and/or offers of products or services which may be of interest to you. Such contact may be made by means of post, email or phone in accordance with any preferences which you have expressed. Where such contact is made you will be given an option to indicate if you do not wish to receive such future contacts.
